Kid’s City
June 8-12, 2009 — 9:00am - Noon
Registration Deadline - May 26, 2009
Cost $50 per child - Minimum of 6 children
$35.00 for MOB Squad Members

Campers will create a mock city, select city officials, and individually develop and promote a store that will provide two products a day for sale. Each store owner will be paid for time worked. With daily earnings, campers may purchase products from their store and save their earnings and make purchases from all the stores at the end of the week. Parents and guests will also be invited to visit Kid’s City on Friday and make purchases while the campers promote their products through flyers, business cards, etc.

Dance, Pom and Cheer
June 15-19, 2009 — 9:00am - Noon

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Learn basic dance, pom and cheer moves. This class is conducted by our own Dance Director of our Studio C Performing Arts Center. This is also a good opportunity for boys to learn how they can be active in this sport when they enter college. Bring your own poms, or use ours. Casual attire that allows you to move freely required. Please bring your own water bottle. This is a week of high energy with a special surprise. A special cheer session will be held on Friday to show off your expertise to parents and guests.

High and Low

Campers will explore underground life, investigate life in a pond and by making a worm garden and an aquarium. They will also explore the living world above us by investigating bird life and plant life. Campers will make kites, airplanes and do science experiments focusing on the clouds above us.

Come Walkabout Down Under
June 29-July 3, 2009 — 9:00am - Noon
Registration Deadline - June 15, 2009
Cost $45 per child - Minimum of 6 children

Campers will visit the Australian outback and learn about “Bush tucker” cooking styles where fruits, nuts, vegetables, meat and fish were combined into rich rice stews and more. They will make their own “dot art” in the style of Darren Mordech of Melbourne. Travel through the Great Barrier Reef and learn about the underwater life that inhabits the Reef while you make a mini coral reef. Campers will learn about the culture and customs of the Aborigines that inhabit most of Australia.

Give My Regards to Broadway
July 6-10, 2009 — 9:00am - Noon

An introduction to the world of musical theater. Campers will hone their voice production and projection skills, learn basic steps and stage presence with new and traditional theater music. Mini-productions will be created throughout the week with select show tunes well known by every age. The camp will be conducted by our very own Music Director, accompanied by our Dance Director, of our Studio C Performing Arts Center. We will close out the week with a special show on Friday for parents and guests.

!CYCLE BREAK CAMPS!

Because we have a large group of children in the surrounding area who attend year-round school, we thought it would be fun to offer CYCLE BREAK CAMPS during the fall and spring break periods. This is a great opportunity for your child to keep busy while having a great time. We will offer the CAMPS for two weeks during each break.


I Spy
September 28 - October 2, 2009 — 9:00am - Noon
October 5 - October 9, 2009 — 9:00am - Noon
Registration Deadline - September 14, 2009
Cost $45 per child - Minimum of 6 children

Campers will learn about Sherlock Holmes, other famous detectives. They will learn the responsibilities of detectives; who hires them and why. They will go on an individual mission to find something of value that someone has misplaced or lost. They will make up their own detective game and design their own clues. Learn the art of fingerprinting and design your own I-Spy wardrobe. This is a great opportunity to learn the qualifications needed to be a “SUPER SLEUTH”.

Oceans of Fun

Campers will learn about diving bells, submarines, marine life and ocean creatures such as eels, dolphins, whales, sharks and octopi. We will learn about the hazards encountered by ships lost at sea; their discovery and their history. If we were marooned on an a desert island, how could we use the ocean to sustain us.

Viva La France

Take a tour of France. Learn about their culture, their artistry, their wine-tasting (only on Friday when parents visit). Make French pastry. Be French chefs. Will do several different things—make pastry, parfaits.
